Entry 4: Brooklyn Metro's News Leader

For this entry, I would like to talk about Brooklyn Metro's news leader. Established in October 1948 as SBKT-TV Channel 2 on The RBC, SDDR-DT is Brooklyn Metro's undisputed television news leader. Which several news bureaus around the Metro, SDDR is the flagship station of The Reece Broadcasting System (RBS).

SDDR-DT consist of six (6) digital sub-stations. It's news operations are on 21.1 along with other programming. 21.2 is a backup channel, mainly airing paid infomercials and religious programming. 21.3 is known as The RBS Superstation, and airs syndicated programming 24/7. 21.4 is RBS Retro, which airs classic television shows and commercials from the 1960s-1990s. 21.5 is RBS AccuWeather, and shows nothing but weather reports and forecasts. Last, and not least, 21.6 is home to The RBS Kids Network, which shows nothing but educational and children's programming.

The main studios of SDDR-TV is located inside Reece Centre, in Downtown Brooklyn, which is also the World Headquarters of RBS.
